During the
evening approximately 1000 people will gather there and, carrying lighted
balloons, walk together up Garth Road and back, escorted by Huntsville
Police and Fire Departments. It is a spectacular sight to see. Those who
are cancer survivors carry white balloons and those who walk for or in
memory of a cancer victim carry red balloons.
The LIGHT THE
NIGHT event is truly a family affair. We will have food, drinks,
ENTERTAINMENT (The Crawlers and others), and time
to visit with others there to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
